Alexz is doing very well. He is metabolizing his meds very quickly, which has pros and cons. The down side to that is obviously that the medicine is wearing off very quickly, leaving him in some discomfort. His nurses are doing their very best to keep him relaxed and cofortable. On the up side, it is keeping him more cognitive. He is mouthing words, and starting to communicate by shaking his head yes and no. Most of the swelling has gone down, so he finally looks like little Alexz again :) thank goodness. Everyday he is getting better, it is just time now.
