Our Sweet Boy

This page was created on behalf of Alexzander Fahrenkamp.

On November 7th, just three weeks after his fourth birthday, Alexz and his father John were severely burned in a tragic accident at their home in Hurricane, Utah. They were both taken by life flight to the Trauma 1 Burn Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

John suffered second degree burns on both of his hands and has been discharge from the hospital and is recovering well.

Their sweet little boy Alexz is in critical condition and currently in the Pediatric ICU. Alexz suffered 2nd and 3rd degree burns to more than 50% of his body, which include his arms, abdomen and legs. Thankfully he did not suffer from too much injury to his face. He is on a ventilator at this time and being kept in a sedated state under anesthesia.

Alexz's long road to recovery will entail more than 20 surgeries, skin grafting, and months in the hospital. Alex's parents, John and Jordan will be living in Las Vegas until Alexz is well enough to come home. It will be a very long and hard process to get their little boy to that happy day.

The Fahrenkamp family is in desperate need of donations. The family does not currently have health insurance and due to the extended stay that will be required for Alexz's recovery and John's inability to work due to the injuries he sustained, they will need all the help they can get. Please donate if you can to help assist their family in bringing Alexz home; happy and healthy.

Prayers and loving thoughts are greatly appreciated. Please share Alexz story and this donation site with as many as you can.

We will be using this site to post updates and pictures of Alexz. Please feel free to follow us through email or subscribe to our posts.
